You’ve probably heard by now, but in case you haven’t – I find it critical that I tell you.
BryanBoy gave all of his (over half a million) followers quite a surprise yesterday afternoon by giving us a look at the cover of September’s Vogue. To be honest, I’m a little let down. Not because of who the cover features. In fact, I’m ecstatic to see Joan, Cara, and Karlie.
But no. I’m irritated because I feel like I missed the finale of my favorite show due to some unexpected obligation and on my way home to catch the re-run, I check my Twitter only to find my feed FILLED with spoilers. Day ruined. Show ruined. And that, my friends, is not okay.
It’s just something about BryanBoy being the one to spill the beans and not Vogue herself that really freaks out my inner OCD. Regardless, it’s out in the open and now we can just anxiously twiddle our thumbs, pick at our split ends, and stalk the newsstands for its release.
But here’s something to chew on.. models over celebrities? This is quite the change for a September issue. My thoughts? Could Vogue be doing some serious damage control? They received quite the backlash just a few months ago. Ahem, April issue with Kim K.
Regardless of Anna’s motivation behind the bold move, this triple threat has showed out the past year in the best way possible. I’m talking- show after show, countless ad campaigns, über popular celeb besties, and Insta-famous social media booms (as the cover admits). In fact, these young 20-somethings are the best friends you para-socially pretend that you have.
So despite how the cover was revealed to us, it’s coming and we are SO ready.
